We are looking for passionate and forward-thinking Systems Support to join the Melbourne team. The Systems team is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the technology infrastructure. This includes, but not limited to, storage, networking, workstations, cloud, virtualisation, and rendering. Responsibilities:

Systems Support are the first responders to incidents and requests supporting the Melbourne team.

  • First line of support for all incidents and requests using JIRA service desk
  • Workstation configuration support (hardware and software)
  • Monitors a variety of physical and logical systems
  • Diagnose and replace hardware components
  • Responsible for managing assets and loan equipment, including relocation and provisioning
  • Interacting with artists daily
  • Support for artists working on AWS Cloud
  • Produce and update documentation using Confluence

Essential Skills:

  • Strong experience in a customer facing role.
  • Strong self-guided problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on hardware experience; builds, upgrades, repair.
  • Basic scripting language (powershell, bash, python)
  • A commitment to teamwork
  • Proven ability to adapt and work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable Skills:

  • OS (Linux, Windows and Mac) and application support and deployment
  • Active Directory management
  • Configuration Management (Puppet, Ansible)
  • Windows Systems administration and deployment (WDS, SCCM/MDT, WSUS)
  • Networking (Layer1, Layer2)
  • VOIP Knowledge (PBX, SIP)
